A leader within the UK construction market offering bespoke joinery solutions for Commercial, Residential and Specialist projects. We are a fast-growing joinery / interior fit out company looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Quantity Surveyor to join our Team.

This role will be based in Bildeston, Suffolk and is an excellent opportunity for a switched-on individual, with strong IT skills. You will need to be highly motivated, a great communicator, able to demonstrate an astute attention to detail, along with having a logical approach to work and excellent time management skills. Experience is preferred within a similar industry but not essential.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with your Divisional Project Directors, Project Managers and Project Teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Inhouse Teams and Subcontractors.
  • Cost control, management of projects and internal cost reporting.
  • Submission of monthly valuations and produce cashflow forecasts.
  • Prepare and manage Subcontractor and Supplier accounts.

Position Requirements

  • Excellent numeracy skills, IT skills with competencies in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Practical knowledge of quantity surveying procedures and commercial awareness
  • Willing to undertake additional training as and where required.
  • Understand the implications of decisions on the financial objectives and value of the company.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure.
