P4 Recruitment isrecruiting Support Workers on behalf of a well-respected client. You will join a dedicated team providing care for children aged 5-17 across two residential homes, supporting a total of seven children. The children in our care may have Autism, ADHD, Trauma, and Cerebral Palsy, so elements of personal care will be involved.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with school-related duties, including transport if required.
  • Assisting with meal preparation.
  • Supporting with personal care where necessary.
  • Ensuring the home environment is clean, including tidying bedrooms, communal areas, and the kitchen.
  • Writing up daily observations and care notes.
  • Engaging in meaningful activities that promote development and independence.
  • Providing emotional and behavioral support in a person-centered approach.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working with children or young adults, particularly in a residential setting or with disabilities.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Passionate and compassionate in their approach to care.
  • A driver is preferred but not essential.
  • Holds or is willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (required for Ofsted compliance).

PAY
  • Unqualified: £12.00 per hour
  • Qualified: £12.25 per hour
Hours
Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday
  • 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 8:30 AM
  • Sleep-ins: £55 flat rate (only occasional; additional hourly rate if woken during the night)
