Our client is a small homelessness charity, they are looking for an experience Outreach Worker who has experience engaging with people sleeping rough.
Engagement hours start at 6:30am.
The purpose of the role will be to encourage and remind people about the charity's services, you will be able to offer initial support and signpost them to services to help them into more appropriate accommodation.
To be considered you must possess emotional resilience and have experience working with people who are homeless or rough sleepers, other experience required includes. Working with people who have complex needs such as alcohol or substance use, mental health issues, a history of trauma and/or offending/antisocial behaviour.
There is an element of lone working and there is a provision in place for this.
