Deputy Manager - Langham Care Home
Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk
Salary: 45,000.00 - 49,500.00
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join a luxury, contemporary and state-of-the-art care home in Stowmarket. The care home offers Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care, Respite Care, Palliative Care, and End of Life Care for up to 75 residents. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate leader to help deliver the highest standards of care and support for the residents.
About You:
* You'll be an RN or RMN with proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Unit Manager within a care home, especially caring for older people.
* You'll bring exceptional leadership skills, enabling you to inspire and guide your team to consistently deliver outstanding care.
* You will have a warm, caring approach and a passion for improving the lives of our residents.
* Your excellent communication skills will allow you to work in a collaborative way with both residents and their families to ensure the highest standard of care.
* You will be a supportive team player, mentoring junior staff and acting as a role model for best practice care delivery.
* You will have experience in leading and motivating staff and will ensure the care home is run efficiently and in line with regulations.
* You will have the right to work within the UK.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support the Home Manager with the daily operation and management of the care home, including covering their absence.
* Ensure compliance with care standards, safety plans, and staffing levels in line with regulatory requirements.
* Carry out care assessments and work closely with healthcare professionals and other support teams.
* Provide leadership to senior support workers and practitioners, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
* Deliver high-quality care, ensuring each resident's individual needs and preferences are met, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
