Receptionist

Opus People Solutions on behalf of Vertas are currently seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and callers. Pay Rate: 12.21

Hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm

Monday to Friday

Location: Ipswich

Lenth of assignment: 3 Months

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate individuals, and take accurate messages when necessary.

- Provide accurate information and assist visitors and callers with their inquiries.

- Manage the reception area and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.

- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages.

- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.

- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

- Handle any other receptionist duties as assigned.

Skills

- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Ability to handle multiple phone lines and work under pressure.

- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
