Description
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential faults and perform preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Manage spare parts inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports and updates for management.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A relevant qualification in Engineering or a related field
- 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A commitment to health and safety regulations.
- Strong team-working skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
