The Role:

As a Mechanical Bias Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring state-of-the-art production equipment operates seamlessly. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, reduce downtime, and keep things running like clockwork.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepping and setting up cold end equipment to meet exact specifications for each job change.
  • Fine-tuning, adjusting, and optimising machinery to keep production running at peak efficiency.
  • Diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults to minimise downtime and maximise output.
  • Modifying and upgrading equipment to improve performance and reliability.
  • Following SOPs and Health & Safety regulations to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
  • What We're Looking For:
  • Time-served mechanical engineer with hands-on experience in a fast-moving production environment.
  • Multi-skilled mindset - experience with various engineering disciplines is a bonus!
  • Basic electrical knowledge (a plus but not essential).
  • Tech-savvy - comfortable using computers for reporting and diagnostics.
  • Problem-solving pro - able to think on your feet and keep things running smoothly.
  • Team player with strong communication skills - because great things happen when we work together!
  • A continuous improvement mindset - Lean Six Sigma (LSS) knowledge is a big plus!
