Job Title: Fixed Plant EngineerLocation: Paisley Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Up to 46,800kJob Overview:An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Fixed Plant Engineer. This is a full-time, permanent role, working a day shift pattern from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability and overtime opportunities.Key Responsibilities:* Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance of both static and mobile plant, ensuring optimal operation.* Coordinate maintenance activities and assist in the development of a robust PPM schedule to enhance plant availability and productivity.* Collaborate effectively with operations to balance maintenance and operational requirements without compromising performance.* Recommend improvements in training, processes, and practices to drive business efficiency.* Contribute to developing technical best practices and standard operating procedures.* Oversee site buildings and facilities, maintaining them in serviceable condition.* Comply with all safety procedures, reporting unsafe practices, accidents, and incidents.* Encourage proactive health and safety management through General Observation (GO) reporting.* Maintain cleanliness in all work areas and ensure accurate record-keeping.Requirements:Essential:* Multiskilled engineer with knowledge of relevant legislation (PUWER, LOLER).* Qualified in mechanical engineering (HNC/HND level) with competence in electrical engineering.* Experience in high-volume processing and maintaining mobile and static plant.* Familiarity with production plant control systems, including PLCs and inverter-controlled systems.* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.* Full UK driving licence.Desirable:* NEBOSH certification.* Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.* Experience in continuous process operations.What on Offer?* Annual salary up to £46,800, depending on experience.* Overtime opportunities.* Life insurance (3x salary).* Company pension scheme.* 26 days holiday plus 4 statutory days, increasing with tenure.* Free on-site parking.* Cycle to work scheme.* Full PPE provided.Application Process: If you are interested in this role, you can get in touch with us in regarding the role.
