Pertemps Kettering are recruiting on behalf of out cleint who are looing for an for anAssistant Data Infrastructure Engineer. The role entails flexible working hours that requires an early start daily and can sometimes include both evening and weekend work.

The Roles and Responsibilities can include:
Installing, Servicing and Decommissioning Educational and Business Audio Visual systems
Installing and testing copper and fibre cabling solutions
Installing and commissioning wireless network solutions
Testing and terminating cables using a FLUKE tester
Server Rack installation, decant, relocation and decommissioning.
Identifying and resolving cable errors / issues
Installing and commissioning IP security and surveillance network solutions (i.e. CCTV systems)
Daily written processes such as site audit or survey documents, timesheets, expenses, etc to be completed on time

The Ideal Candidates would have : (T = training would be provided)
Experience working as part of a team and individually
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Health and Safety Qualifications/Awareness
Cabling Qualifications (T)
Site experience CSCS / ECS Card (T)
IPAF / PASMA Certification (T)
Full UK Driving Licence an advantage.
Asbestos Awareness/Working at Heights/Manual Handling Certification (T)

You must have bewilling to learn and develop your abilities working as an assistant engineer for approx. 3 years
