A leading restructuring and advisory firm on the Isle of Man is seeking to expand its team with the addition of a Senior Manager. This is a key role within a growing business that has recently made significant investments on the island.

About the RoleOur client is looking for a highly skilled insolvency/advisory professional to join our established team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in restructuring and/or advisory services, along with a relevant professional qualification. Strong people management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. The role also demands excellent report writing abilities with a keen attention to detail and a strong awareness of risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, including both advisory and insolvency assignments.
  • Oversee teams, ensuring that projects and cases progress within set timeframes and budgets.
  • Maintain meticulous engagement records to meet exacting standards.
  • Assist the Partner on specific high-priority projects.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key intermediaries.

Essential Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Relevant Honours degree.
  • ACA, ACCA, or a similar professional qualification.
  • 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in insolvency and/or advisory within a professional practice.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Advanced report writing capabilities.
  • Commercially astute.
