As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the sales and operations of the branch, ensuring its profitability and success. You will play a key role in business development, driving both new and existing customer relationships while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Your ability to motivate and lead a team will be crucial in achieving sales targets and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
Alternate Saturdays:8:00 am - 12:00 pm (44.5 hours per week)
Salary: £31,000 per annum + Bonuses
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of branch sales and operations, maximising revenue and profitability
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new and existing business
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster long-term relationships.
- Develop innovative strategies to secure new customer wins
- Drive business development activities to expand market share
- Manage stock control, using market intelligence and sales analysis to anticipate demand
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team in a fast-paced environment
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience in the construction sector within a customer-facing role
- A strong background in sales, negotiation, and stock management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team
- A track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Confidence, accuracy, and teamwork to uphold service guarantees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
