Teaching Assistant - Role Overview
- Supporting the whole reception class as a Teaching Assistant
- Leading phonics sessions and promoting early literacy skills
- Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and classroom management
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners
- Working closely with staff and parents to ensure pupils thrive
Teaching Assistant - Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and phonics
- A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children's learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for early years education and helping children develop key skills
