Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Iver, Buckinghamshire.

About the role

•Role begins ASAP on a full-time basis and is for the duration of the academic year, working with a Reception Class Pupil with complex needs.

•As a 1:1 TA, you will be required to communicate effectively and work in partnership with Class Teacher to implement the Primary National Curriculum.

• Additional responsibilities may include break and lunchtime supervisor duties.

• Opportunities for career progression through in-house training schemes.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours
  • Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
  • No previous experience working with SEN required

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
