The Role:
As a Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, partnering closely with the Head of Finance. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving financial accuracy, efficiency, and strategic decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop a finance team while contributing to the success of a growing organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the Head of Finance to craft and implement financial strategies aligned with our business goals.
  • Ensure Financial Accuracy: Oversee monthly closings, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT filings with precision.
  • Drive Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to uncover opportunities, track trends, and enhance financial performance.
  • Lead with Excellence: Manage and mentor a team of assistant accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Streamline Processes: Optimise financial operations to enhance reporting speed and accuracy.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Proven leadership experience in finance roles such as Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, data analytics, and payroll management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
  • A track record of solving challenges and delivering results under pressure.
