The role is working within a dynamic and fast-growing business within the service sector. The role will primarily be based in the Slough area but with requirements to travel regularly.

The role of Field Operations Manager reports in the Head of Operations and will have direct responsibility for a remote team, as well as supporting with broader operations and fleet management for the business.

You will be expected & required to:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver great customer outcomes to the highest safety & service standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely, accurate and personable service delivery across the customer base.
  • Ensuring all compliance and best practice is delivered to the highest standards possible.
  • Support the engineering team where required with programmes that enhance performance and capabilities in the field.
  • Manage the fleet of company vehicles including all necessary legal/safety and warranties requirements are met and surpassed

  • Previous experience and success of people management and all associated HR activities - Essential
  • Enthusiastic about Training and Development, with a strong focus on delivering a superb customer experience - Essential
  • Analytical and results-oriented, with a keen interest in delivering service excellence. - Essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the building of strong relationships with a field-based team - Essential
  • Experience of vehicle maintenance and fleet management - Advantageous
  • A flexible approach to working arrangements and a willingness to travel as required - Essential
