Role: Site Manager 

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus package 

We are looking for an experienced Retrofit Site Manager to join a dynamic team focused on energy-efficient projects. This role involves overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onsite retrofit projects, working with contractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee installations of energy-efficient measures, ensuring buildings meet sustainability standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Building Control regulations and all statutory legislation.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring health & safety standards are maintained.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and residents, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, residents, and internal teams.
  • Attend meetings and provide project updates in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with auditing and compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in site management, particularly within social housing and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and housing legislation, including Section 20 leaseholder consultation.
  • Ability to manage communication across various stakeholders, including supply chain partners, clients, and residents.
  • Experience handling and resolving complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Sound understanding of project governance and risk management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • CSCS card in site management
  • Relevant building or trade qualification
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Full driving licence

Desirable qualifications include an NVQ Level 6 in Site Management/Construction and Fire Assessment Surveying knowledge.
