Role: Site Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus package
We are looking for an experienced Retrofit Site Manager to join a dynamic team focused on energy-efficient projects. This role involves overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onsite retrofit projects, working with contractors and suppliers.
- Oversee installations of energy-efficient measures, ensuring buildings meet sustainability standards.
- Ensure compliance with Building Control regulations and all statutory legislation.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring health & safety standards are maintained.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and residents, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues that arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, residents, and internal teams.
- Attend meetings and provide project updates in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records in line with auditing and compliance requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years’ experience in site management, particularly within social housing and refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction and housing legislation, including Section 20 leaseholder consultation.
- Ability to manage communication across various stakeholders, including supply chain partners, clients, and residents.
- Experience handling and resolving complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Sound understanding of project governance and risk management.
Essential Qualifications:
- SMSTS qualification
- CSCS card in site management
- Relevant building or trade qualification
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Full driving licence
Desirable qualifications include an NVQ Level 6 in Site Management/Construction and Fire Assessment Surveying knowledge.
