In this role, you will develop an in-depth understanding of our products and handle technical and sales inquiries via telephone, email, and occasionally in person. Your responsibilities will include preparing quotations, troubleshooting technical issues, processing sales orders, and providing top-notch customer service. While sales and/or technical experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with a keen interest in this role, as full training will be provided.Due to the location your own transport is essential!Key Responsibilities:Promptly and efficiently handle technical and sales inquiries via telephone and email.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.Coordinate with customers, internal departments, and third parties regarding product availability, delivery times, and other relevant details.Attend UK trade shows as required.Process sales orders as demand dictates.Provide both written and verbal quotations.Follow up on leads and previous quotations.Assist with marketing campaigns.What We’re Looking For:Essential:Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent time management and organizational abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft software and ERP systems (ERP system training will be provided).Preferred:Technical skills with a sales focus.Previous experience in business-to-business sales and/or technical support.Background in engineering.Location: Based at our workshop in Ivybridge, Devon.What We Offer:Competitive salary range of £27,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.23 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years of service.Generous pension scheme.Sick pay.Discretionary bonus scheme.4x salary death in service benefit.Access to a healthcare plan.If this sounds like the new role for you then click Apply now!!
