Staffline is recruiting for FLT / Fork Lift Drivers in Sittingbourne.
The rate of pay is:
- Days £16.13 per hour
- Nights £17.88 per hour
This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off, on a continental 12-hour shift pattern. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am
This is a 45-minute paid break included.
24/7 cover is required including bank holidays and weekends.
Your Time at Work
As a FLT / Fork Lift Driver, your duties would include:
- Operating a forklift safely to run production operations and service haulers.
- Working consistently to quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
- Having key contact for all haulers on-site
- Vacuuming Lift Operation to sort CHEP pallets to specific standards
- Ensuring trucks and equipment are well maintained and report operational problems including damage to trucks or other property.
- Safely and efficiently direct visiting vehicles whilst loading and offloading goods.
- Carefully handle and store the company's hire stock while following required stock rotations

You will have a strong safety mindset and have the ability to plan and manage time effectively.
Experience Required:
- Working within a fast-paced warehouse yard (or similar) environment
- Communicating with Haulers
- Counterbalance Forklift operation experience - minimum 2 years
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems
- Beginner-level CI and Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to use technology and systems for processing vehicles
- Operating MHE
