Established in 1980, the company has grown significantly over recent years with over 400 staff and warehouses across the North of England. Operating across the North of England, Wales and Southern Scotland, with a daily delivery service to thousands of businesses.

The Role:

This is a field-based role predominantly covering the North East of England and the Scottish borders. This role is highly suited to candidates with a desire to operate within a dynamic and highly focused organisation. This is a key role within the business and represents a highly rewarding opportunity to candidates with a drive to go beyond expectation.

Automotive sector sales experience is preferred but not essential as full induction and product training will be given to the successful candidate.

This role would be suitable for candidates who live in Carlisle, East coast including Dunbar, Berwick, Alnwick, North Newcastle, Scottish Borders inc Peebles, Galashiels, Hawick, Selkirk and Lockerbie

Duties include:

Promotion and sale of the companys house brands, growth and maintenance of the dealer network for the companys exclusive brands.

Management of all existing and prospective customers across all sectors (including car dealerships, independent tyre shops)

Managing relationships with customers to ensure highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times

Close liaison with the tele sales team to address any issues, customer requirements or sales opportunities.

Managing the flow of information to customers relating to promotions and rewards programs

Call reporting on companies CRM package

Attending customer and company events outside of normal working hours (hospitality etc.)

Required Attributes:

A proven history in developing customer relationships

Energetic and passionate about delivering improvement and exceptional customer service

A dedicated team player

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to work to tight deadlines

Ability to work in a team and on own initiative

Results and targets driven

Willingness to travel

Package:

Competitive basic salary of £35000

Retention Bonus of £2000 paid after 6 months with a further £2000 paid after 12 months

Performance Bonus with OTE of £44,000 per annum
