This is a fantastic opportunity for a design coordinator / assistant design manger to work for a forward thinking and growing company.
My client is a privately owned construction contractor who works predominantly in the Midlands and North West area. They work on design and build, new build, refurbishment and fit out projects in a wide range of sectors including industrial, retail, healthcare and residential offerring a good portfolio of work to expand your experience.
This is a new role into the company working alongside the current design manager to assist on a number of new projects that theyhave been successful at securing.
They are looking for someone who
*Has experience within construction, this could be working for a contractor or from an architectural practice
*Is proficient in AutoCAD as well as Microsoft Office Packages
*Has a driving license so can visit sites
*is a tem player
*Has very good communication skills
You will be co ordinating drawings from external consultants for all packages (eg M & E, structural, etc) and checking and overlaying CAD drawings.
