Position: SHEQ Officer/Advisor
Location: Kegworth
Salary: Up to 拢50,000 plus package
A leading Civil Engineering and Building company is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Officer/Advisor. This role is pivotal, overseeing and implementing SHEQ procedures, assisting with pre-site preparation, and conducting on-site audits. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams across the East Midlands and the office in Kegworth to ensure safe project delivery in compliance with current legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
路Conduct SHEQ site inspections and audits.
路Support site teams with the preparation and review of paperwork, including Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Inductions, and Toolbox Talks.
路Develop and review pre-start SHEQ plans and site files.
路Assist with the administration of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, & ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001).
路Support incident reporting, investigation, and accident trend analysis.
路Attend all relevant training and identify further training needs through trend analysis.
路Assist in maintaining various Health & Safety Accreditations.
路Monitor on-site Sub-Contractors.
路Attend SHEQ and site meetings.
路Perform any other duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
路Ability to leverage experience and knowledge to help site teams deliver leading practices.
路Use data to motivate project teams to achieve KPIs.
路Excellent communication skills and strong construction-based knowledge.
Required Experience:
路NVQ Level 4 Qualification or equivalent in Health and Safety.
路NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
路Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001.
路Full driving licence with access to a vehicle.
