Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus Car Allowance
Position: Mineral Planner Full-Time
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mineral Planner to join our clients successful and dynamic team. You will play a key role in managing and delivering a variety of mineral planning projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and planning policies. Mineral Planner Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert planning advice and guidance on mineral development projects.
- Prepare and submit planning applications, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet legal and policy requirements.
- Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and public consultation processes.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in planning legislation, policies, and best practices.
- A degree in Planning, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in mineral planning or a similar discipline.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policies related to mineral development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
