A trustworthy manufacturer in Keighley, they are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.

Description

  • To standardise, improve and automate the production process to improve efficiency, increase capacity and improve quality.
  • Understand current manufacturing processes and their limitations, to identify key areas for improvements
  • Scope solutions to manufacturing bottlenecks, working with cross-discipline teams to ensure the solutions are suitable
  • Manage projects to implement the solutions from initiation to completion, ensuring key deliverables are met in a timely manner
  • Produce Gantt charts for each project to ensure visibility and accurate tracking
  • Implement fixes to quality issues as they arise, with process improvements and changes to jigs and fixtures as required
  • Ensure documentation relating to changes is up to date and ISO9001 compliant
  • To deliver CI projects to improve production capacity
  • To implement process changes that reduce waste/cost/improve quality
  • Make sure manufacturing documentation is up to date and ISO9001 compliant

Profile

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a project/manufacturing engineer/process engineer role
  • Good teamworking and people skills
  • Great at problem solving
  • Able to implement changes and deliver results
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Lean six sigma/kaizen and other CI experience preferred but not essential
  • CAD experience preferred but not essential

Job Offer

Salary: £40k - £42k
