Service Engineer – West Yorkshire – Mechanically Biased - £38-40k + x1.5 overtime + 25 days holiday + access to pool van – UK coverage

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.

Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include –

• The company is easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including places such as Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Shipley, Halifax and Otley – when the successful Service Engineer isn’t out on customer sites, they’ll be based on the shopfloor in West Yorkshire
• Service Engineers applying are likely to be mechanically biased, with some electrical appreciation/knowledge
• Knowledge of working in food factory environments - strongly preferred
• Growing company – over 25% increase in year on year turnover
• Hours worked over and above the standard 37.3/week are paid at x1.5

• Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and involve Sales team with identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification – ideal
• Prepare RAMS
• Full UK driving licence – essential
• Inspect site work, carry out surveys and maintain service stock
• The company has been established for over 40 years and is a well-known brand in their market, known for manufacturing high quality, long lasting machines.
