About the Role:

As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a multi-disciplinary manufacturing unit, specialising in FMCG manufacturing. Our client has an excellent reputation for manufacturing quality products supplied into a variety of industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and direct a team of approximately 25 direct employees and agency workers.
  • Operations: Maintain the smooth running of all manufacturing areas, ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are upheld.
  • Performance: Monitor production output against the plan, reporting any variances to the production manager.
  • Efficiency: Control and manage production wastage, particularly during changeovers.
  • Compliance: Conduct all checks and audits required by the company BRC/quality system.
  • Team Development: Develop and motivate the team, identifying training requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking ways to enhance production.
