About the Role:
As the Production Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the operational strategy, ensuring delivery of the master production schedule, and managing the entire flow of materials through the supply chain. You will work collaboratively across teams to improve processes, automate workflows, and achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key member of the manufacturing management team, contributing to the overall supply chain strategy.
- Partner with the purchasing team to ensure balanced stock levels and material availability aligned with production plans.
- Manage engineering changes and create robust production plans to meet customer demands.
- Lead the automation of process flows from customer orders to finished goods.
- Support the implementation of planning tool software and act as a key stakeholder in the SAP implementation.
- Develop efficient plans in collaboration with manufacturing, ensuring adherence to capacity constraints.
- Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Technical functions to align business objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication across the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Planning Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Expertise in production planning with 5+ years of experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (3+ years).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable energy, drive, and a sense of urgency.
- Commercial awareness with excellent influencing skills.
- Effective communicator at all levels, with experience working cross-functionally.
