Building Surveyor (BSA PD Experience)

Flux Consulting have partnered with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with a reputation for excellence in delivering professional building and project management services.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Building Surveyor with proven competence in BSA PD (Building Safety Act 2022) to support their growing portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will hold the CABE Building Control Certificate, demonstrating the expertise required to ensure compliance and safety on all developments.

Key Responsibilities of the role to include;

• Conduct detailed building surveys, inspections, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage safety, quality, and risk.
• Advise clients on building defects, proposed renovations, and property legislation.
• Work on a range of projects from residential to commercial developments.

The ideal applicant will possess;

• Proven experience with BSA PD, demonstrating knowledge of building safety and regulatory compliance.
• CABE Building Control Certificate (or equivalent) to confirm competence.
• Relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction technology and building pathology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
• Live and can commute to an office in the North Essex region.
