Role: Hotel Manager - High Quality Operation

Location: Kendal / Windemere / Ambleside commutable

Salary: Up to £48k + Bonus + Benefits

We are recruiting for a Hotel Manager from a high-quality hotels background to lead the day-to-day operation of this luxury boutique hotel. We are looking for an experienced manager with a high end 4 star or 5 star background and strength in F&B as well as a good business acumen.

The role;

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and management of HODs of this high-quality hotel operation with a key focus on ensuring the highest standards of service is delivered to all guests.
  • Attend senior management meetings and support in achieving the business goals.
  • Be responsible for supporting the financial plan with a focus on budgets and sales across all departments.
  • Lead the training plans, team development and coaching of department managers to ensure excellent knowledge and exceptional service and standards.

The Candidate:

Experience as a Senior Manager within the hotels sector. Ideally you will be from a small high quality hotel background as a Deputy General Manager / Operations Manager or Food & Beverage Manager looking for progression.

You will have experience working in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment

You will have a passion for food and knowledge of wines.

A strong work ethic, and strong leadership skills are also key to this role.

A good understanding of financial controls across all areas of the business.
