The Role:
I am seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join my clients multi sited accountancy practice with various office locations across Cumbria. Managing a portfolio of 50-75 clients, you will provide expert financial guidance, ensuring tax efficiency and financial growth. This is a client-facing role that requires a proactive approach to tax planning, forecasting, and profitability enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of 50-75 clients, ensuring compliance and financial success.
- Provide expert tax planning advice, helping clients minimize liabilities and maximize opportunities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
- Offer strategic forward planning guidance to support client profitability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted financial advisor.
- Keep up to date with the latest tax legislation and regulatory changes.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of tax planning, compliance, and financial forecasting.
- Exceptional client management and advisory skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful, strategic recommendations.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
