Head Chef Ideal Profile:
- Comfortable designing and delivering fresh, seasonal menus with elegant presentation
- Experienced in managing kitchen GP targets around 32%
- Confident leading a small, agile brigade and adapting to business needs
- Skilled in balancing multiple menus including House, A La Carte, and Afternoon Tea
- Passionate about sourcing local ingredients and crafting house-baked items
- Organised and collaborative, supporting smooth service across departments
Head Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food operations including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service
- Lead the kitchen team with a hands-on and supportive approach
- Maintain strong cost control while producing consistently high standards
- Collaborate with FOH to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Create daily staff meals and provide baked goods and biscuits for guests
- Support afternoon cake service and seasonal events across the hotel
