Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer
Weekly Hours: 28-35 hours over 4-5 days per week
Location: Kendal
Salary: 26,024 per annum available at 28-35 hours per week (pro-rata if part-time) plus pension contribution of 9%.
Term: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities:

Manage all financial activities, including budgeting, invoicing, and payroll processing
Coordinate and prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensuring transparency and financial integrity
Maintain financial records and files, ensuring confidentiality and easy access for audits
Assist with grant management, including application preparation, reporting, and compliance
Support the office administration function, including managing correspondence, supplies, and equipment
Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, logistical support, and documentation
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

Proven experience in finance and office administration, ideally within a charitable organisation
Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for making a difference
Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
