Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate 1st Line Engineer / Onsite Engineer to work with a long-lasting client of ours in Windermere. This role is pivotal in our Education managed IT support services. Ideal candidates will have practical experience in IT support and project delivery, either within an MSP environment or as part of an internal IT team and are ready to take the next step in their career. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.

Responsibilities:

* Manage all incidents and customer requests from receipt to resolution and closure.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop and system issues, providing support both remotely and on-site within SLAs.
* Respond to user queries regarding software or hardware via ticketing system, phone, or in person.
* Maintain and update the ticketing system, ensuring all calls are logged and notes are complete and current.
* Continuously enhance knowledge and understanding of the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team.
* Review and manage weekly timesheets and KPI scorecards.
* Assist in monitoring tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

* Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and individuals at all organisational levels.
* Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to drive project agendas.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Strong work ethic and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1-year experience in an IT support role.
* Experience in a customer service environment.
* Background in a service delivery environment.
* Proven ability to meet SLAs.
* Demonstrated skills in technical troubleshooting and fault finding.
* Strong administrative skills for managing timesheets and documentation.
* Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
