Job Title: Sales Advisor - Kendal

Reports to: Head of Sales

Summary of Position:

As a Sales Advisor based in Kendal, you will play a crucial role in promoting the products and training services for our client who specialises in working at height. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for providing accurate and relevant advice to customers, maintaining customer information, and actively contributing to business development efforts. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Role and responsibilities;

  • Offer precise and relevant information to customers regarding the products and training services.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate recording of customer information for future reference.
  • Maintain regular contact with allocated accounts to generate consistent orders.
  • Introduce new products to existing customers and keep their information up to date.
  • Proactively reach out to prospective customers to explore new business opportunities.
  • Issue quotations and diligently follow up to secure sales.
  • Negotiate sales terms and bring deals to a successful conclusion.
  • Work towards achieving sales targets set by the Head of Sales.
  • Liaise effectively with other team members to coordinate efforts and share relevant information.
  • Confirm and update customer information systematically on the database after interactions.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer records.
  • Continuously improve technical product knowledge through professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required from time to time to support the overall sales function.

Someone looking to grow their experience - £24-26k

  • Customer service experience
  • Good Admin - Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Confident on the phone and corresponding over email
  • Open to be trained up on cold calling, negotiating and B to B selling and managing client relationships

Someone with experience - £26-32K

  • Experienced sales professional
  • Used to managing their own portfolio of clients
  • Used to working to KPI's and Targets
  • Has B to B selling experience
  • Comfortable cold calling and negotiating
  • Strong customer service/client relationship skills
  • Excellent admin
  • Confident communicator

The role is 100% office based and will involve interacting with customers over the phone and via written communication.
