Support and Protect Children's social worker; Kendal

Westmorland and Furness - Childrens Social worker needed - Support and protect - Kendal South Lakes - 45 an hour

We cover quite a wide area so there is travel involved in the role. We work from referral right through assessment / CP / CIN and court work although we do not have huge amounts of care proceedings in the team. We work a duty system across 2 teams on a fortnightly basis and each worker is to be on duty in the office 2 days a fortnight then available to meet the needs of the service / their caseload.

South Lakes with the office base in Kendal - up to Swarthmoor, Greater Langdale, Dent. Approx. 22 / 23 children mix of CIN/ CP / assessment.
Minimum 2 duty days once a fortnight and then to be local to meet needs of caseload / service
