Robert Half is recruiting for a dynamic opportunity with a growing business in South Birmingham. This role is ideal for a part-qualified management accountant looking to advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive management accounts.
- Perform cash book and bank reconciliations, including manual payments through banking software.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis comparing actual results with forecasts.
- Compile and submit head office reports on inventory, receivables, sales, and margins.
- Create a PDF management information pack, detailing schedules for sales, margins, inventory, and working capital.
- Reconcile balance sheets for trading entities and prepare them for submission to head office.
- Maintain monthly planning and working files.
- Oversee vehicle fleet operations, including fuel card management, invoice processing, insurance claims, and vehicle orders.
- Develop annual vehicle, profit and loss, and balance sheet plans for sales companies.
- Complete annual statutory accounts for group consolidation.
- Handle payroll processing and variance analysis.
- Support the monthly internal controls submission.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a management accounting role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High level of diligence, numeracy, and attention to detail.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency.
