Your new roleThis is a part-time role (14 hours per week) to join a great team and could be for 2 or 3 days per week with 1 day in the office. We are looking for Qualified candidates, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a strong technical bias and knowledge of preparing statutory accounts for numerous entities ideally both within the UK and overseas. Key duties include:

  • You will ensure timely preparation and submission of both UK and Overseas legal entity statutory reporting and tax returns, in accordance with local GAAP/ IFRS and other reporting standards
  • You will be responsible for timely preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports & surveys
  • You will support the analytical review process, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with VAT return preparation.
  • You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors.
  • You will support the manager with common processes, and other ad-hoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team.

What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for a fully qualified candidate who is looking for the flexibility of a part-time role. This would suit someone who has trained within a larger Accountancy Practice or an international business. Excellent knowledge of IFRS and preparation of numerous statutory accounts is essential.
