Accounts Assistant

Kenilworth - Onsite full time

Henderson Scott are pleased to be working with a fast growing company who is looking for a highly organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

Key responsibilities include managing purchase and sales ledgers, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and liaising with external accountants for VAT returns and payroll tax filings. You will process monthly payroll through QuickBooks, administer the company's pension scheme, and handle employee expense claims. The role also involves monitoring fleet related expenses while maintaining organised records and assisting with scheduling. Additionally, you will research and apply for government grants, ensure regulatory compliance, support audits, and provide high-level administrative support while engaging with international stakeholders.

The Person:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, credit control, fleet expense management, and office administration.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, Excel and payroll software.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Confident in credit control and managing international debtors.
  • Knowledge of fleet expense management, toll systems, and fine processing is a plus.
