Are you an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper looking for a new challenge? Our client is a highly successful organisation based in rural Warwickshire, and they are seeking a skilled individual to join their team. Please note this is an office based role and the client would consider someone on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Preparing and reconciling financial statements and reports
  • Handling payroll processing and ensuring accurate HMRC submissions
  • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaising with external accountants for year-end processes and audits
  • Ensuring VAT returns are filed on time and managing any other compliance-related tasks
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally in an owner managed / entrepeneurial led environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and payroll
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • AAT qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various teams
