UK IT Director - Coleshill - £90,000 + 6k Car (hybrid onsite 2/3 days a week)I am looking for an experienced IT Director to help take an immature and dated IT function and bring it in to the modern age. Working closely with group, this role will be tasked with turning around IT security and delivering projects across the UK sites. This includes moving from on prem in to the cloud and implementation of new systems and software. The current team size is under 10 but there are plans for growth as and when needed.
This role will be tasked with the creating and delivery of the IT strategic roadmap, reporting in to the CFO with a dotted line to the Group CIO you will have the autonomy to run UK IT as needed with the help and guidance of a much larger group. We are looking for a relationship builder who can bridge the gap between technology and the wider business and also at group level. IT underpins everything this business does, but is currently seen as a necessary evil.
Required experience:
- Proven track record in a number one IT leadership position.
- Solid understanding and ownership of IT Security.
- Ability to manage a small team and roll up sleeves when needed.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering.
- Good technical understanding across infrastructure, development & Security.
- History of delivery technical strategic roadmaps.
