Group Fire Officer£70,000 - £75,000 P/A + Car or Car Allowance National Role / Hybrid working Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours Do you have previous group fire experience from a large organisation where you've been responsible for a big portfolio of sites? Are you prepared to travel, weekly, if required for work? Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Group Fire Officerto join the team.The main purpose of this role is to be the go-to person for over 40+ sites based in the UK. You will be tasked with ensuring a proactive approach to fire safety across the business. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £75,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus a company car or car allowance, private medical insurance, hybrid working and more! This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 37.5 per week. Please note - this role will require travel most weeks of the year with some stay overs essential. Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing the organisations fire safety policy and monitoring compliance against current regulations, 
  • Being the business Subject Matter Expert in relation to all fire safety, 
  • Managing 3rd party Fire Risk Assessments, Audits and governance, 
  • Sharing best practice across the business network through monitoring and audits,
  • Developing appropriate standards of fire safety training to be delivered across the company estate, 
  • Presenting quarterly reports on fire safety performance and any incidents to date,
  • Raising awareness across the business of changes to legislation and being the liaison for all fire safety related queries. 
The ideal candidate:
  • Must have a successful track record in a similar role managing a large estate,
  • Will need to come from a large commercial or healthcare organisation, 
  • Must hold a relevant NEBOSH or equivalent in fire safety,
  • Will hold a relevant qualification in risk assessment,
  • Must be prepared to lead by example, be clear, concise and highly motivated to provide solutions when faced with new situations or challenges
