Interim HR Project Manager - BAU role inside IR35Based around Warwickshire / West Midlands Paying between £400 - £500 a day12 Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Project Manager to join our client's organisation. As the HR Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our client's global People Function portfolio. You will be responsible for project management, delivery, and execution of key projects and initiatives across the People Function Portfolio.

Your key focus areas will include supporting the Reward function in delivering on its annual cycle commitments, implementing a new strategic workforce planning tool, and managing the RFP process for a new global Background Screening solution. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of this solution. Other projects may also be assigned to you in this role.

To be successful in this position, you should have previous experience working as a Project Manager in a Human Resources Function, preferably as part of a global HR transformation programme.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and execute multiple complex projects across the People Function using project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
  • Develop and execute project plans for key initiatives.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders, business executives, and other key stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to the project and develop mitigation plans.
  • Proactively address challenges to keep the project on track.
  • Oversee the implementation of HR technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT and HR teams to integrate new systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure HR projects comply with relevant laws and regulations in the UK and US.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications, experience, and technical skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Project Manager.
  • Project Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, AgilePM / DSDM / Scrum, PMP, CSM, or similar are required.
  • Degree level qualification or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience working with Procurement and managing end-to-end RFP processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
  • Understanding of HR functions, processes, policies, and practises.
  • Familiarity with HR technology solutions and the ability to oversee their implementation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and organisational priorities.
