Become a Ecommerce Web Analyst (GA4 Experience)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Ecommerce Web Analyst with expertise in GA4 to join our Digital team. As an Ecommerce Web Analyst you will be working within the Ecommerce Trading Team to analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for revenue optimisation. Leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights that inform trading decisions, promote best-selling products, and enhance site performance. Proven experience working within an ecommerce trading team, with a strong understanding of trading strategies and on-site customer behaviour is required.

Your Mission

  • Track & Optimise: Leverage GA4 and other analytics tools to monitor key e-commerce metrics and customer journeys providing actionable insights that inform trading decisions, promote best-selling products, and improve customer journeys.
  • Custom Insights: Create tailored reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate & Experiment: Team up with design, development, and marketing to run data-driven experiments and A/B testing to optimise the user journey.
  • Uncover Trends: Analyse data, visualise insights, and spot opportunities to enhance our digital channels.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep up with e-commerce trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Report & Improve: Regularly share KPI analysis, highlighting success areas and optimisation opportunities.
  • Roadmap Support: Work closely on e-commerce and conversion rate optimisation strategies, backed by Return-on-Investment modelling.
  • Google Analytics 4 Whizz: Dive deep into GA4 setup, integrations, and tracking maintenance. Sharing your GA4 knowledge to boost the team’s self-sufficiency.
  • Business Impact: Demonstrate how e-commerce initiatives drive financial and profitability success.

Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart

  • Proven experience working within an ecommerce trading team, with a strong understanding of trading strategies and on-site consumer behaviour.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights that have directly contributed to revenue growth.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a passion for ecommerce and trading excellence.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role, specialising in e-commerce analytics and user behaviour analysis within ecommerce teams
  • GA4 Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including hands-on experience with event tracking, custom dimensions, and advanced segmentation.
  • Analytical Ninja: Strong skills in interpreting complex data sets and turning them into actionable insights.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, or Tableau for visualising data.
  • Communication Superpower: Excellent ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical folks.
  • Toolbox: Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, and Looker Studio.
  • Office Wizardry: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint to make data insights clear, understandable and sparkle.
