Search are delighted to partner with a SME company based near to Coventry to recruit an Accounts Assistant that has good experience in Payroll too.

The role will join a tenured finance team and report to the senior leadership team. This business is part of a large group and require an Accounts Assistant payroll with and credit control experience.

The suitable candidate will have good general accounting skills (must have Quick Books experience). from a fast paced background and strong attention to detail.

Other aspects include:

  • Transactional purchase ledger invoicing
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Processing payments, BACS and transfers
  • Dealing with suppliers and queries
  • Month end closure and reconciliations.
  • Journals, prepayments and accruals.
  • Reporting
  • Payroll
  • Credit Control

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience using Quick Books accounting software
  • Have a positive attitude, flexible approach and a passion to learn
  • Wanting to grow and develop and join a fast faced environment.

Salary

  • £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
