Role: Project Manager

Duration: 6 Months (extension options)

Location: Wokingham (Hybrid 1 day in office)

Rate: £600 per day (umbrella)

About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the delivery and rollout of our Service Management capabilities using the ServiceNow platform. You'll lead a talented multidisciplinary team to ensure that our projects meet time, cost, and quality criteria while embracing our culture of innovation and collaboration. Your efforts will help us transition to the new National Energy System Operator, setting the stage for a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives within an Agile framework.
  • Develop and manage an Agile project plan, including product backlogs and sprint planning.
  • Identify risks and create effective mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritise user stories.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates, including sprint reviews.
  • Document lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in project management, specifically with ServiceNow implementations.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their application in project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps and SRE principles.
  • Proficiency in using the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Relevant industry certifications (APMP, Agile PM, SAFe) are a plus.
