Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of sales ledger, ensuring its accuracy and integrity. You will be based in the beautiful city of Warwick, with a competitive salary of £26,000. The successful candidate will have the chance to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, while also having the opportunity to recommend process and system changes.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your primary role will be to ensure the smooth running of all aspects related to accounts receivable. Your excellent attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the sales ledger, reconciling payments against invoices, and producing aged debtor listings. Your interpersonal skills will shine as you build relationships with stakeholders, while your problem-solving abilities will come into play when investigating payment discrepancies. You'll also have the chance to contribute to the wider finance team by assisting with cashbook reconciliation, monitoring company cashflow, and maintaining cashflow records.

* Deliver and maintain sales ledger accompanied by appropriate controls and reconciliations.* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of outstanding sales ledger balances.* Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.* Reconcile payments received against invoices and produce aged debtors listing.* Send payment reminders and chasers as necessary, escalating aged debt accordingly.* Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve disputes.* Undertake ad hoc duties as part of a small team.* Identify and recommend process and system changes.* Assist with the reconciliation of cashbooks and bank accounts.* Monitor Company cashflow and maintain cashflow records.
