The Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Hotel Manager to support the General Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure a superior guest experience. This pivotal role demands a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for exceeding guest expectations. Under the guidance of the General Manager, and as the face of our hotel, you will embody our commitment to high standards and lead a team dedicated to excellence.

This is a very hands-on roleperfect for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and knows how to balance people, product, and profit with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and support your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every time.
  • Maintain high standards across all departments, ensuring everything runs smoothly and professionally.
  • Work closely with department heads to drive consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Oversee daily operations, keeping the hotel safe, clean, and compliant.
  • Manage costs, rotas, stock, and budgets with strong commercial awareness.
  • Encourage open communication, regular briefings, and a strong team culture.
  • Champion service excellence and continuously seek ways to enhance the guest journey.

What Youll Bring:

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a senior operations role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Commercial and financial awareness with a practical mindset.
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT proficiency (Rezlynx knowledge is a bonus).
  • Familiarity with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Licensing regulations.
  • Passionate, approachable, and committed to high standards.
