Our client has experienced some growth during this year and expecting further growth in 2025 and beyond. As such we recruiting for an experienced auditor to join the team and take further develop their skills into the accounting side.The role will be based in offices on the fringe of Kettering - ideally situated to be able to meet with clients on and off site. You will join a great team and be part of a really supportive working environment offering plenty more scope for career development.The role is a nice mix of audit and accounts and you'll work across a variety of clients and industries from small owner managed to £multimillion turnover. The role:

  • Financial statement audits
  • Support with training and development of juniors
  • Working to prepare accounts and business/corporation tax
  • work with clients to resolve any queries
  • VAT returns
  • Management accounts

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous practice experience within the UK
  • Experience in all aspects of audit is essential along with a knowledge of accounting, tax and compliance
  • ACA/ACCA qualified ideal
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office - especially Excel
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Full UK working rights
