Day-to-day of the role:- Identify and secure high-quality work placements for students across various industries.
- Liaise with employers and work placement organisations to create opportunities for students.
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of student placements, ensuring they meet educational and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate records of placements and student progress.
- Conduct regular visits to employers to assess the quality of placements and address any issues.
- Collaborate with academic staff to ensure placements align with educational objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to students before, during, and after their placements.
- Promote the importance of work placements as a valuable aspect of student development.
- English and Maths at Grade C or above.
- A Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in handling enquiries and contacting employers or work placement organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations related to work placements.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
