Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Finance Operations Administrator to support their team in key purchasing functions, payment applications, and documentation control. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing essential support across multiple business functions.
As a FinanceOperations Administrator, you will:
- Manage daily processing and distribution of incoming posts, including mail, emails, and faxes.
- Conduct due diligence for contracts, including purchasing and returns for leasing, subscriptions, and franchise finance.
- Post manual and electronic payments, including customer transactions, direct debits, and payments.
- Process account adjustments, terminations, and support desk queries.
- Analyse overpayments across UK and European databases.
- Oversee agreement-related invoicing, documentation imaging, and database maintenance.
- Manage customer direct debit databases and process lease deposits.
- Maintain operational logs and respond to franchisees, sales managers, and customer inquiries.
- Support contract auditing, compliance reviews, and operational process improvements.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary to ensure resolution.
Skills and attributes my client is looking For:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C), including Mathematics; A-Levels preferred.
- Basic financial accounting knowledge and experience in a finance or operations role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
