Are you a detail-oriented professional with a background in finance operations, payments, or contract processing? Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Finance Operations Administrator to support their team in key purchasing functions, payment applications, and documentation control. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing essential support across multiple business functions.

As a FinanceOperations Administrator, you will:

  • Manage daily processing and distribution of incoming posts, including mail, emails, and faxes.
  • Conduct due diligence for contracts, including purchasing and returns for leasing, subscriptions, and franchise finance.
  • Post manual and electronic payments, including customer transactions, direct debits, and payments.
  • Process account adjustments, terminations, and support desk queries.
  • Analyse overpayments across UK and European databases.
  • Oversee agreement-related invoicing, documentation imaging, and database maintenance.
  • Manage customer direct debit databases and process lease deposits.
  • Maintain operational logs and respond to franchisees, sales managers, and customer inquiries.
  • Support contract auditing, compliance reviews, and operational process improvements.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary to ensure resolution.

Skills and attributes my client is looking For:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C), including Mathematics; A-Levels preferred.
  • Basic financial accounting knowledge and experience in a finance or operations role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
