We have been asked to recruit a Bookkeeper for a company based in Kettering.
*Please note this is an office-based position.
The role is initially for 12 months however this could go permanent, depending on the business’s needs.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing sales and purchase ledgers, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
The company has been trading for over 30 years and is very niche in what they do.
Below is a small overview of what you’ll be doing…
- General bookkeeping duties
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Credit control
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Processing of monthly payroll, including EPS/FPS submissions to HMRC
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis as required
- Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts
